Long Days and even longer nights

I hate the fact that my days begin well before 7am......... The kids think its great to get up early and watch TV or play the computer before school. Which would be great if they actually got ready for school first, but kids being kids - they do get dressed for school, I will give then that much but they will not get breakfast, make their beds, or pack their bags.

Some days they will not wake me, then other days (like this morning) Stephanie feels the need to bring in a note that needs signing at 6.16am. I mean WTF? Did the note magically appear overnight? did you not have it yesterday afternoon that you could give to me and I could sign?

And then its a huge rush at 7.50am, to get hair done, lunches packed, shoes on, bags packed etc,etc..... then for the next hour Im picking up their pyjamas (that they just step out of and leave on the ground, wet towels from showers either lying on the floor, or lounge, or behind the lounge because they are too lazy to hang it up and its easier to hide then put it away properly!

ANYWAY......... Where was I going with this????????????

Ohh year, Late nights......so I basically work shiftwork and generally my shifts are afternoon/night shifts. So today I start at 4.30pm which means a 6 hour shift will have me finishing at 10.30 and if you have ever worked shift work you would know when you finish work at 10.30pm, I get home just before 11pm then to eat, shower, relax, and check my facebook until Im tired enough to get to sleep, means I wont be sleeping until about 1.30am...........

Then the vicious circle begins again. Im glad I only have one late night shift this week........ Im one cranky mummy when I am suffering form lack of sleep!

Depending how busy it is at work tonight, I may post again lol. I have decided If i can do a little post each shift ( and i know i wont be able to post every single shift) but if I aim too..... then I will be posting a few times a week - and that will keep my thousands of fans busy!!! LMAO

Skye, is the little girl across the road from mum and dad. When she was born she was a very high demand baby and her mum wasnt coping well. During a conversation with mum and dad, she mentioned this and my olds told her that she should drop her over for an hour each week just to have a break. Skye has become like another grand child for mum and dad. They love her to death, and love their time with her. Skye is due to become a big sister this year, and mum and dad are the ever excited expectant grandparents :) Mum asked me to come and take some photos of skye, (I also had to bring a dress lol mum said she has NEVER seen her in a dress before!!!)
