2009 - how it was!!

Well another year has come to an end - and a new year ticked over..... What can I say about 2009 apart from where the hell did it go??

I look back and my last post was in October 2009 - Guess I have kinda been a bit busy huh~ My most humbled apologies.

I Guess i'm trying to remember what has happened since then...... so much but at the same time not much I guess.

In October i got a job - telephone operator in a call centre. The job is so much better than i imagined- its easy, its stress free you get out of there on time EVERY DAY and you dont spend your evenings wondering if you did this or did that - OH and no possible way of bringing the work home lol.

Shannen finally got to france -and will return in about 22 days - I look forward to seeing all the photos and hearing all the stories. I am hopeing for so much more from Kane this - last year - school was a disaster - I would dread it everytime the phone rang - thinking it was the school again. but hopefully it was just a phase and this year will be his year to shine.

Steph is loving her gymnastics -and can not wait tll school goes back- she misses her friends and the routine of school.

Hamish has been kept very busy this year - with work and also building the kids their climbing wall - which was a suprise fight up till christmas for them. But you all know Haym - nothing changes and he just totters around in his own little word and does what he wants- although it is nice to see him him getting out in his boat fishing a bit more.

ME - well - this year was definatly a hard and tryng year for me - so much I lost and struggled with, i would say - this has been my worst year for quite a few years -

With me resigniing in Jan 09 and flitting between little here and there jobs for over 8 months - I had never felt so useless and belittled and felt the depression would just swallow me up at any time. I tried to hide it, although at times it was just impossible - going from a fulltime career person, to a nothing again, and then the rejection after rejection of applying for jobs.... it really does get you down.

I really got into the photography this year and was suprised to get a camera off the inlaws for my birthday - I barely let it go lol - im not great at it - but would really like to go somewhere with it in the future...

I guess the other good thing about my 2009 was the fact that finally - after being over 90 kg (and at times - the top end) I got down to under 80 kilos this year - and then finally at the very end of 2009 - I actually got under 80 (79.5) - so at my heaviest - I was 98.5 and this year lost 20 Kg - something I am very proud off.....

Well thats it for now - wll be back later with some pics. and maybe a little bit more - but need to get ready for skiing :-)
