A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Can you please leave a comment if you have checked in.

Last day 2006

I was talking to Katrina yesterday and we had to laugh that we both dont have a life!!!!!!!! she is gonna spend New Years Eve at home, and as she says probibly in bed by 9pm, we are gonna spend the new year at home, although we will more than likely see the new year in!!!

So here we are...the last day of the year and as I look back to my first blog entries in January 2006 and the things I wanted to accomplish this year......

1. Keep this online blog diary to keep friends and family up to date with whats happening in our lives.
Not only did I accomplish this but have inspired 2 of my oldest and dearest friends to do the same. (when i say oldest i mean long term......)
2. Give blood.
Although i missed my last appointment to give blood, i have regularly given blood everytime i have been called up to. This is something I will continue to do in the New Year!
3. Giving up the ciggies for good!!
Lets move straight onto number 4
4. Keep online blog and use info for xmas letter.
OK seriously....I am gonna do a New Years Letter to go out at the end of January.......Promise....
5. Finish Business Admin Course
Mission Accomplished

So now we start with what I want to accomplish in 2007.
1. I will give myself till end of Feburary to find a job. Kids dont start school till beginning of feb. But a lot of this is not just up to me... there has to be work available to get it!!
2. If I havent got a job by End of Feb I will enrol in another TAFE course by correspondance.
3. Continue to keep this blog going.
4. Continue to give blood regularly.
5. Have extensions completed by August 2007
6. (Not even going to go to the "give up smoking for good") so No.6 will be to keep in touch with friends.....
7. find a job by end of May, (so if I fail #2) i have another chance
8. Get fit and lose 10 kilo's,, will keep you up to date on this one..........but i know that it will be one of my several failed missions
9. complete my book i am writing......... (for those of you who know, i have started writing a ....not so much a book but a recount of what i felt and did after Toni passed away. I have gotten the rough copy done and a few people have read it and It has helped them deal with their losses...started as a project for The Compassionate Friends..... a support group for the loss of a child...
10. Accomplish at least 5 of the 10 things i have mentioned......

So thats it!! Last year I had 5 items to accomplish in 2006 and did 3 of them......with 10 items on the list doing 5 gives me a 50/50 chance of success!!!

BY THE WAY.....Please let me know if you continue to check this site, dont forget to include your name!!!! ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR AND I WILL SEE YOU ALL IN 2007
