A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Can you please leave a comment if you have checked in.

Friday 3rd March

ok ok I know Im slack and havent posted for a week??? OR MORE..... Ive been totally caught up in stuff....

Well, I have my first assessment due the week after next. I havent even started it yet. It is for medical terminology so instead of updating the blog I should be researching it. But this is far more interesting. As i said earlier my Prior Learning has come through so I have only got one more module of computing to do this simester, which is access the internet, so I should be able to pass this subject. i AM REALLY ENJOYING BOOK KEEPING THOUGH, everyone in my class think I am a freak!

I thought I would let you know some of the exciting things that happened Last Year.

Last year was a very exciting year for us as Shannen started high school. Where has the time gone?? She was really excited about it. The night before she started she couldnt get to sleep. Around 10:30 she drifted off to sleep and was up and ready for school by 7am. Her and her best friend Ashleigh set off together on their first day excited and all reved up.

Only to come home exausted and with a bag full of homework.

She has a wonderful group of friends at school. A lot of the group from last year, Trish, Tahlia,Brittany, Cody, and there are lots of new people too, Dekara, Kim,Jazzy,Jacquolin,Matt, James (Jimmy), Liam and Liam and a few more I cant remember. They are all so polite and well mannered. I hope they continue to be good friends.

Kane also had a big year as he started School last year, with him beginning Kindy. He was unlucky not to get in the same class as his best mate from Kookaburra Kindy Matt. But was soon making lots of new friends. He really enjoyed hisfirst few school days but it was very exhausting for him as he would come home and crash out by 5pm this lasted for about 2 weeks but slowly he got used to the long school day. He also started Soccer. His first sport he has participated in. Which he really enjoyed. Until he got bullied by the coaches son.. makes life really hard for a 5 year old to enjoy himself.

Shannen also got involved in the Rock Esteadford. Bomaderry high school is well known for its participation in this event. It got very hectic towards the end with up to 12 hours of after school rehearsal each week.

We were very lucky to be chosen to host 2 Japanese Exchange students in the middle of the year. Satomi and Anna. What a week we had. We took them to the Animal Park and introduced them to the Koalas and Kangaroos. We took them to the beach, shopping, Cambewarra lookout and the most entertaining part was watching them open a Macdonalds Hamburger. Apparently our burgers are 3 times the size of their Macdonalds hamburgers. Oh yeah and watching them jump on a trampoline for the first time EVER. It was the experience of a lifetime. to have 2 foreign students living in the same house as you. They knew very limited english which made it very difficult at first to communicate but we figured out ways to get around the language barrier.

Anyway, I must go now and get onto beginning my assesment.

Have a good weekend All,

Catcha next week...
Leanne
