A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Kane

I am so proud of Kane at the moment!

He is doing well at school, not getting into trouble and doing well in his classes.

Yesterday for his homework he had to write a poem for Naidoc Week... This was his creation

Respect


Respect this land
Respect every man
It doesn't matter if you have a different tan

Take care of our earth in any way
to make sure it will forever stay
Wombats, Echidnas, Kookaburra's and Roos
Plants Trees and Mother Nature Too

Only gather what you need
To have a feed
Leave the rest behind
For others to find

Respect this land

Elders tell stories they speak the truth
They pass on memories to their youth
Respect yourself, Respect others
especially respect mathers and brothers
Honour the elders
Nurture the youth
But most of all Know the truth

Both H and I asked him if he really wrote it himself - It was so good!

Ok so last night I was talking to a friend online and he was telling me things were not good with his girlfriend. Had to laugh last night when he told me the thing that was lacking in his relationship was in the bedroom!
Hehe after many funny suggestions on how to broach the subject I suggested playing the Lily Allen song - Not Fair!!

LOL loving this song at the moment - AND ONLY BECAUSE IT IS SUCH A CRACK UP!!
Had to add it!
