A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Can you please leave a comment if you have checked in.

Holidays!! Day 1 - Skiing, Lunch and Skate Park!

I am officially on holidays! I have not had holidays with the kids for probibly 18 months.....so these holidays I am making up for it!

I secretly-( without them knowing or else they would hold me to it) vowed to do something with the kids every day of the holidays. Wether it was to play on the trampoline - (I know just the visual is enough!) or go for a drive to the beach or to sit down and watch a movie with them.

Well today I reckon I clocked up 3 days worth! LOL

We started out the day with a morning Ski with Jase and Andy. Kane had a go on the knee board and then jumped on the biscuit with me.... And Steph as usual, played on the beach and in the water and shivered herself silly! I also got quite a bit of AIR on the biscuit!

Then Kane Steph and myself joined Kath, Jase and their 2 kids, and went out to lunch! We had a lovely meal at the Buffet Fusion.

Then I took Kane and Steph to the Skate park!

I was a bit nervous of taking them, as those locals know, they have just opened a new skate park in Nowra in the last few months. And Kane has been very eager to test out some of his Tony Hawk moves (that he learnt on the play station!)

I have driven past the skate park hundreds of times and everytime it has been full of Teenagers, so obviously to take a nine year old boy and 7 year old girl, i thought they may get bullied, knocked around or injured! But I was so happy leaving there, Some of these teenage boys were very encouraging and helpful to Kane and were very considerate to to the little ones that were around. Kane has quite a flair for skateboarding! I was watching him, watch some of the elder boys and then hold my breath while he performed some of the stunts that they had done. Overhearing the older boys comments was great! Comments like...

"I cant beleived he pulled that off"

"Check out that 'dude', he just did a *insert skateboarding name for a trick here* and landed it!"

LOL You can tell Im really into the skateboarding lingo hehehehe....

Apart from a few foul mouth words that would pop up every now and then I was very impressed!

VERY UNLIKE ME....I did not have my camera with me, so I am going to have repeat the efforts again before I finish my holidays. To post pictures
