A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Can you please leave a comment if you have checked in.

Learning to Delegate, Fun at Work

For those who I dont get to talk to often, I thought I had better let you know, that I have been quite successful at my job at Ray White Nowra.

I started there about 18 months ago, doing 8 hours a week canvassing for 2 of the sales staff. I was offered a few more hours (an extra 8 ) each week after about 4 months so was doing 16 hours a week.

I was then offered an additional day each week doing reception, which is where i figured out Property Management is where I wanted to be. For some reason I never wanted to go into sales. Many said that is where the money is, but you know what! I wasnt in it for the money, well i was cause thats why I went back to work hehehehe but I mean, I was happy with the paypacket I received.

After 10 months of Part time work with Ray White, I was offered a fulltime job as Property Officer. I jumped at the chance to fullfill this challenging roll. AND I LOVED IT!

Then, after just5 months as a property officer I was offered the position of Asset Manager.
(More money, a company car, and a bit of Authority :-), which I find the hardest change to adjust too. My peers, who I have worked along side for the past few months, now look at me as their supervisor.

I still have a problem with the delegation of duties. I dont want my girls to think I am taking advantage of my new position and giving them the shit jobs to do. And I dont want them to think I am more "SUPERIOR" than they are. We all started in the department as equals..

But even though I have a much bigger work load, its a lot more stressful, and there are just not enough hours in the week. I thank god for the girls who I work with,

Priscilla, Alison, Judi, Steph, Mel F and Mel W,

You make going to work fun, you make the day exciting, and I love you all. I respect you all and It wouldnt be the same at work without you all there.

Our little nicnames for our clients - E_ _ _ L The Rat, Hot Rod, and Ali's Fav, Travis Sm_ _ _.

Our fun little games we play, the mischeif we get up to..... (BOSS OF THE YEAR )

THANKS GIRLS
