A BLOG TO DIE FOR.........

Since I started this blog a few years ago, I always wanted my blog to be 'one of those blogs'. The ones that I frequent. You know the blogs that you check every day, because the author is creating a very exciting experience that you want to be included in! The type of blog that you cant wait to read every morning.
Mine has never been like that! I have come up with the 5 top reasons why mine is not like that!
5. Because I dont update it every day!
4. Because I generally write about my kids, including too many photos
3. Because I am not a poetic writer!
2. Because I dont think anyone except aunty Nancy reads it!
1. Because my life is just not that interesting!
But I can always dream that one day, I will have more than one follower.

Can you please leave a comment if you have checked in.

Missing In Action

I know I know, it has been over 5 months since my last post and many have given up looking for an update.
Well

IM BACK!

So where to start!

We are pretty much the same! not much changes in this household. lol

Steph is now well into 1st grade and enjoying it thoroughly. She is a very smart and bossy 6 year old. She has been cursed with active tonsils which have flared up about 9 times over the past 12 months, and we are off to the doctors again this morning to try and get something happening with them.

Kane has just turned 9 and is turning into a real LAD. He is really active and loves doing back flips and anything "Gymnastics". He spends a great deal of time bouncing on the trampoline. We recently had his birthday, and he had 3 friends come over to our house and we took them to the air museum, and then to the movies. We then came home and the 2 boys slept the night but Minnie (Kanes Girlfriend) went home after the movies. The boys stayed awake all night playing the playstation, and watching Austar and were pretty much Nackered the next day (Mothers day)

Shannen has just completed her Mid Year 10 exams. She is very busy with Debating (I always said she was good at arguing her point!) She is in the school REP Gymnastics team and again has secured a part in the School Rock Esteadford Team. Add the part time work at Blockbuster and she pretty much does not have time to get into any trouble! (Well, any that we know about anyways)

DH pretty much is continuing to do the same-old same-old!

I myself have been pretty much flat out! I was offered full time work at Ray White Nowra as a Property Officer in the Property Management Department. Which of course I jumped at immediatly!

This also meant I had to go back to TAFE again, this time to gain my
"Certificate in Property Practice (Real Estate) "
Which meant lots of long days and late nights and this obviously kept me away from DH and the kids. Working 9-5:30 5 days a week, (and saturdays twice a month 9-3pm) and then TAFE 2 nights a week and I wouldn't get home till 9 - 9:30 at night. I was totally exhausted!. But I have now got my Certificate. And am awaiting my "Licence of Registration" from the Department of Fair Trading.

I am hoping to receive my Licence within the month. LEGALLY this means I can Sell your house for you! Although I am totally happy with working in property management where I get a set wage each week and do not have to worry about sales targets and not getting paid because I dont sell anything!

Shannen is also enrolled in a TAFE course. Certificate 1 in French. It is now decided she will spend her student exchange in France, and this of course means learning a new language, which along with everything else that she is involved with, means late nights.

We have a new family member too....... Shannen has herself a new kitten Kaylei. Such a sprity little thing that runs around the house mad! Tigga has taken to her remarkably well and Rusty is just busting to get through the back door to play with her (or eat her???) Not quite game to go that next step yet!!!!!

Mum has had a remarkable improvement with her health. Since the diagnosis of Parkinsons she hit a depression but is now well on the way to being "MUM" again. She has driven the car for the 1st time in 18months, went to a meeting by her self for the 1st time in 18 months and is now leaving the house regularly with dad. Such an acheivement!!

Nikki and Hailey are off to China in August to see the olympic games..... and hopefully on return we may hear the pitter patter of little feet as Hailey and Mark hope to start a family in the next 2 years. How exciting!.

Well, now we are just about up to date.... (just a few more family members and friends to update on....) but for now it is off to the doctors with Steph, and hopefully I can get back to put up some Pics later today....

So don't forget to come back and check regularly for updates, cause I am trying to get back regularly!

:waves: KYLIE, MARC, JADE, LUKE, SHAI and NAN :waves:

Kat: Lunch again soon??
