Happy New Year to All

I sure hope you had a great christmas. We had a really interesting one. Santa left the girls bikes this year. Stephanie got her 1st two wheeler and we were very excited to see her jump on and take off straight away. She had a few incidents where she headed into the bushes across the road head first , but she is now enjoying the freedom of the wind in her hair. Shannen also got a push bike, as she hasnt had a bike since she got one for her 9th birthday, (which she couldnt ride till she was 11). Kane received his push bike for his birthday last year so Santa left him a green machine, if you havent seen one of these, it is similar to what a billycart looks like. but it has pedalls and "helicopter controls" as Kane calls them. It sits very low on the ground.

They also got many, many other things. Kane got his wheel shoes he wanted, and lots of dinosaur stuff. He wants to be a paleontologist . he knows so much about them............

Steff got a baby cabbage patch doll, a first family dolls house, and books, among other things.........

Shannen scored an MP3 player, a huge make up set, sunny's and plenty more.

Shannen had her first WORKING birthday this year. She had to work at pizza hut, from 5:30 till 8:30 on Wednesday. Her bestie Jasmine came and slept the night tuesday night and was there to see her open her pressies.

For her birthday, she got a digital camera (4 megapixels with 3x optical zoom and digital doom with a memory card) Her camera is better than mine!. She got a digital photography book she has been asking for, for ages, a printer for her computer, a 1 KILO block of chocolate, and lots of scrapbooking stuff.

THANK GOD CHRISTMAS AND SHANNEN"S BIRTHDAY ARE OVER FOR ANOTHER YEAR.

Well our family is complete now, no more babies or little suprises and the children are growing up, so we are planning on adding a master bedroom (with ensuite) for Hamish and Myself, so the children can have their own rooms..... we will also be extending the dining room! or actually adding a dining room/ living room.

Basically what we are planning to do is even up the house at the back so it is square. Where the back room currently ends will be squared up.

The parts in cream is the planned addittions.........
Left most is the new bedroom with ensuite in bottom middle... and in direct middle is the added living / dining area. We were thinking of adding a porch / verandah along the back of house.............

We havent really started plans yet but thats the basic idea!!
