Thursday 12th January.

I can honestly say I did nothing interesting today. Although I did discover my teenager has a shoe fettish......weird!

Since she was absent when I began the Back-To-School shopping and since she needed new school shoes thats what we set out to do today.

MISSION- SCHOOL SHOES, JOGGERS, LUNCH BAG AND THE REST OF STATIONERY.

So we go to Best and Less and she finds the school shoes she wants, I'm stoked... (First shop and were nearly done). She tries them on and they dont go up to her size, but at least we know what style she is looking for . Go into next Isle she finds the lunch bag she wants, and the joggers.... half way there.....

Drop into a shoe shop "Shoe Barn"on the way to the fair. She goes in and is looking around while Im doing my own looking. We meet up and I ask if she has found any...the only pair in there she like $149.99, Sorry not gonna pay that for school shoes.... but she has found 8 pairs of "Talent Quest Shoes", (good high heals, nice strappy ones, Going Out shoes).

As most of you know she loves to sing (and I think she is pretty good at it) So she has began singing at talent quests, she sang at several Carols by Candlelight around our local area.... So know she needs Talent Quest Shoes. I pull her out of the shop by the arm telling her we are buying SCHOOL SHOES nothing else.

So we go to the fair and walk into Kmart, and WOW...heaps of reduced toys and stuff at the door, so I start looking around and she goes to the shoe section and starts looking. When I get there she is in the Talent Quest Shoe Section, and she has found these shoes "I just love them................. fallen in love with...etc" I tell her we are looking for school shoes and she says she has found school shoes and pulls a pair from under the shelf and continues to look at going out "Talent Quest Shoes" ??????????????????????

So we get the school shoes, and the rest of the stationery stuff and we are now done except School bags.

I dont know where she gets this shoe thing from.....I have a pair of joggers, a pair of slip on shoes (Casual/flats), a pair of Black boots and a pair of sandles thats it! I dont own any high heels, (except the small heel on my boots.)

She has about 14 pairs, actually come to think of it so does my little princess...... she has about 10 pair as well......??

Weird, only 4 and 13 and they have the female "Shoe Thing"
